Op deze pagina vind je een overzicht van de lopende projecten en het mailadres of een link naar de organisatie waarbij U zich kan aanmelden indien je wenst deel te nemen aan de opbouw van een bepaald project. N.B: Het is zo wonderbaarlijk om te kunnen zien hoe gevarieerd de natuur is door te reizen. Het brengt ook zoveel intense ervaringen met zich mee dat een blog geschikter is om alles via internet mee te delen. Wat me bijvoorbeeld is bij gebleven is de prachtige sterrenhemel in het Duitse Eifel. De zalige temperaturen in Portugal. De schoonheid van de zee in Griekenland.

 

Project 1: Kunstenaarsdorpje in Duitsenland aan de Eifel in Weissenseifen

Informatie:

Weissenseifen is een vrij afgelegen kunstenaarsdorpje nabij het stadje Prüm in het mooie Eifelgebied.

De activiteiten zijn voor het grootste gedeelte artistiek gericht maar je kan hier ook meewerken aan Zelfvoorzienend Leven aangezien het dorpje bewoond wordt door hoofdzakelijk kunstenaars die een leven in gemeenschap hebben opgebouwd.

Je kan hier logeren en je hebt de vrijheid zelf je activiteiten te bepalen. Er zijn hutten waar je tegen zeer voordelige betaling kan verblijven in samenspraak met de eigenares.

Zeker een aanrader voor mensen die graag met kunst bezig zijn (schilderen, tekenen, beeldhouwen enz...) of mensen die gewoon willen genieten van de mooie natuur, gezonde omgeving en rust.

Er zijn ateliers en expositieruimten waarvan je gebruik kan maken indien je deelneemt aan de artistieke projecten.

Het water in de rivieren is drinkbaar en er zijn verscheidene bronnen. De omgeving is zeer geschikt om wandelingen te maken in de nabijgelegen wouden. Het landschap is zeer heuvelachtig met veel open vlakten en bebossing.

Het is hier vooral heel stil en rustig en één van de weinige plaatsen in Europa waar je nog kan genieten van een mooie sterrenhemel, zonsondergang of het geluid van een kabbelende rivier.

Slapen kan je hier in volledige stilte zonder het storende geluid van auto's.

Project 2: Osho garden

 


Ecovillage – Meditation resort – Permaculture farm

Osho Garden is a communal project to create a meditation resort, a community and a Permaculture farm in southern Portugal. We are registered as an Ecovillage, as an Osho Information Center and as a WWOOF host.

Sabóia is a small town, over eight centuries old, in the lower Alentejo bordering on the Algarve. We live in a farmhouse near the Santa Clara /Sabóia train station. The garden has one hectare of prime agricultural land and borders a river that flows all year. We use the barn as a meditation room and are presently renewing the roof, it should be ready again before the winter. Caravans in the garden provide additional accommodation.

We are also preparing for the construction of an Eco Retreat, a water landscape and Permaculture operations on our 31 ha land in an unspoiled natural area nearby. A small camp has been installed recently and we are now planning for a larger settlement, the start of our Ecovillage. This village will operate completely ‘off-grid’, providing in our own water and energy needs. We intend to grow much of our own food.  Here we want to realize Osho’s vision of a new way of life for the New Man. He inspires us to create a paradise on earth.

The aim is to celebrate life in every respect. Our way to find inner peace and understanding is through meditation. Osho designed active meditation techniques that we can use to consciously express and learn to watch our habitual patterns. For information on Osho and active meditations you can visit www.osho.com

Everyone who wants to join this project is encouraged to apply, either for a short stay or for a longer period, as a part time volunteer worker. Prior experience is not necessary. How to get to our house

By car:

Coming from Lisbon take the toll road or the IC1 south. If you are on the toll road, leave it at exit 10 (after Grandola), from thereon take the old highway (IC1) direction Algarve. After 27 km turn right, direction Santa Luzia. About 6 km after Santa Luzia, just before Reliquias turn left. Continue on the N266 southbound until 3 km after Santa Clara-a-Velha. Our house is at the left side of the road, 300 m after the bridge near the train station Santa Clara/Sabóia.

Coming from the Algarve take the IC1 to Lisbon or if you are on the toll road, take exit 14 (Messines) and follow the IC1 to Sao Marcos da Serra. Just before Sao Marcos go left, and after a few kilometres right, to Nave Redonda. There take the N266 to the right at the roundabout. After 10 km there is a sign to Sabóia to the left but pass it by, continue in the direction of Santa Clara. Our house is after 500m on the right side of the road.

By train:
Mind the limited schedule, the regional train goes 3 times a day, both ways. WARNING: Train times change regularly. Check the train website to be sure: www.cp.pt.  Last updated February 4th, 2011



FARO
The train from Faro to Sabóia leaves Faro at 07:16 – 13:30 – 17:30. You have to change trains at Tunes. Arrival times at Sta Clara-Saboia: 8:42 – 14:58 – 18:54 The trains to Faro leave Sabóia at 06:52 – 11:31 – 16:51 and arrive 08:34 – 12:40 – 19:47 in Faro (change trains at Tunes, for the last train there is a long wait). The train station is about 5 km from Faro airport.

LISBON
The best travel option from Lisbon is to take the intercity to Faro that leaves from Lisboa-Oriente at 13:20 (Lisboa-Entrecampos at 13:30) every day and change to the regional train at Funcheira. Arrival at Funcheira 15:32, departure of the regional train 16:15. If all goes well you will be in Sabóia at 16:50 and someone will pick you up from the station if you notify us in time.
PORTO
Leave at 09:47 on the Alfa-Pendular to Lisboa-Oriente, arrival time 12:22
Then you have almost an hour for lunch. You will find something in the Vasco da Gama shopping center opposite the station. Or you can eat your sandwich in the park (the former Expo site) near there. See above (LISBON) for the rest of the journey.

You can check the train website www.cp.pt as follows.
Click on Viajar em Portugal / Intercidades in left column. Then Horarios e precos.
Fill out Origem: Lisboa (= Lisboa-Entrecampos) or Faro
Then Destino: Santa Clara (= Santa Clara – sabóia)
Then Data (date, use calender) and Partida – Horas (Departure – time) and OK

Our organizations



The community and meditation center are organized in an Association, established in Sabóia, Odemira. It’s social organs consist of 11 board members from different EU countries.

Our agricultural and commercial activities are organized in an Agricultural Cooperative according to Portuguese law and with a total of 9 board members.

The properties are owned by a Charitable Foundation according to The Netherlands law. They are leased to the Agricultural Cooperative. Project 3: Kalikalos Center

Informatie:

Kalikalos is een Meditatief Holistisch Centrum met de bedoeling vakantiegangers of bezoekers de mogelijkheid te geven om op ecologische wijze deel te nemen aan dagelijkse activiteiten met de bedoeling samenwerking te stimuleren vanuit een holistisch perspectief.

Mensen kunnen vrij meeleven in het centrum en deelnemen aan activiteiten die holistsich leven stimuleren.

Het centrum is gelegen in een zeer mooie natuurlijke omgeving waar de tijd nog lijkt te hebben stilgestaan dicht aan zee. Bezoekers kunnen beschikken over gratis vervoer indien ze zich willen verplaatsen naar zee. De belangrijkste elementen in het centrum kunnen worden samengevat onder de noemer samen leven en delen vanuit een holistisch perspectief.

Bezoekers hebben de mogelijkheid om zelf activiteiten of workshops te organiseren.

Ik heb zelf goede ervaringen met dit centrum aangezien mens en omgeving centraal staan en alle inkomsten worden gebruikt om ecologisch leven in gemeenschap daadwerkelijk vorm te geven.

Maaltijden worden samen bereid. Groenten en fruit wordt zoveel mogelijk zelf gekweekt. Activiteiten bestaan uit strandwandelingen, duiken, zwemmen, meditatieve workshops, dans, muziek, kunst enz... 

Dit centrum is verbonden met het grotere Findhorn in Schotland. 

Kalikalos maakt gebruik van de ervaringen vanuit Findhorn om Holistsich leven op Ecologische wijze vorm te geven.

Het waren voor mij 2 onvergetelijke weken die me naar het volgende project hebben gebracht, nl. de vervuilingsproblematiek in Thailand ten gevolge van toerisme transformeren door het opbouwen van Holistische centra.

De ervaringen die ik in Kalikalos heb opgedaan zal ik zeker kunnen gebruiken in Thailand.

Project 3: Oprichten holistische centra in Thailand

In aantocht. Voor de projecten in Thailand zal er een blog worden aangemaakt zodat mensen reacties kunnen plaatsen en overheden de projecten kunnen volgen zodat eventueel subsidies kunnen ter beschikking worden gesteld.
